Veterans are at 50% higher risk of suicide than their peers who have not served.

We are here to change that.

OUR MISSON

We seek to prevent veteran suicide through community awareness, camaraderie, interaction and communication with veterans.

OUR IMPACT

VOW22 is dedicated to its mission to never let veterans who are experiencing mental, emotional, or physical trauma due to their time in service be alone. No matter their financial situation or physical needs, during service or any time after, VOW22 is relentlessly focused on supporting these brave men and women not only during their crisis but throughout their recovery.

With your help, we can move even faster to drastically reduce veteran suicide rates.

OUR PROGRAMS

ANNUAL HIKE

Once a year we host our Veteran Suicide Awareness Hike through the community of Lake Jackson, Texas. This hike has grown from a small crowd of approximately 150 veterans and supporters in 2016 to over 1,000 participants in 2020.

COUNSELING PROGRAMS

Our Counseling Program covers the cost for Veterans and their spouses or children who are seeking mental health counseling. VOW22 is currently partnering with two counseling centers located in South Texas. Crisis appointments are available.

To apply for the Counseling Program, please email Info@VOW22.org.

MEET & GREETS

We host Meet and Greets at local establishments in order to build camaraderie within the community. This is a time for fellow veterans to talk to each other and get to know other veterans within their community. This is a crucial step in establishing those relationships to identifying early warning signs of any issues fellow veterans are facing.
